Growing up in Des Moines, this is something that always brings back childhood memories. I remember going to the State Capitol when I was in elementary school. Harold Hughes was Governor then and I went to school with his niece. I remember our entire class standing with him and he had his hand on my shoulder. The picture was in the Des Moines Register and I've often searched for that picture. I know my mom has it somewhere.
