Well, making our first bracelet was hard! There were square and circle foam "patterns" with slits to put your yarn. We had to measure out the yarn and then place it strategically on the foam pattern. And then it was time to start making the bracelet. I criss-crossed the yarn while Maddie watched and then she did it. Sometimes in the beginning we'd have to go back and re-do what she did but she did it!
And it ONLY TOOK FIVE HOURS! Seriously!
Needless to say, we only made once bracelet but now that we've done one, the next ones will be easy. There are so many patterns we can make and I do believe we made the hardest one!
Here's her pattern. Initially, this was supposed to be for mommy...purple, pink, black and silver. By the time we got done, we found the bracelet wasn't long enough so it ended up being Maddie's bracelet.
I was really glad to find that Maddie loved doing it. She's gonna be a crafty girl. And she's a patient girl. Patience is the name of the game, you know!
And here is her bracelet two weeks later! It's still holding strong. She made a wish and when the bracelet falls off, she is hoping her wish comes true!
