On Tuesdays, my girlies usually stop over after school. It's the only night I have to see them as every other night of the week is busy for them. Usually, Maddie wants to see if she's grown...I measure her on the wall and she's so excited if the line gets higher. On this night, she immediately put on my reading glasses. They are very weak so I don't think they hurt but I really don't like her to wear them. But she looks so darned cute in them! I don't think she looks like a five year old...more like she's ten going on 16?!
Then there's Miss Maci. She totally into comfort these days. She calls these her comfy clothes. She's growing, too, but I do believe she has hollow bones that are filling up. I think she is going to be a forever skinny girl. She moves constantly and never really is quiet {nice way of saying "she n.e.v.e.r. shuts up}. I'm sure she burns each and every calorie the minute it goes in her mouth.
I often think of my Nana and I know now how she felt having us live right next door to her for 14 years. She must've been in heaven ♥
